Very professional and easy to deal with fair quote and no surprises. He was thorough, methodical and you knew you were in safe, reliable hands. “I had engineer David out to my property today to look at my broken Worcester boiler. He diagnosed the faulty part extremely quickly and sourced the replacement part and fitted. David was an extremely knowledgable engineer and filled me with confidence. While working on my boiler he noticed the top gasket for the burner had starting to crack and could potentially leak carbon monoxide if left. He has replaced this part too and carried out a full boiler service. After speaking to David i now understand the importance of having all my gas appliances inspected yearly by a Gas Safe registered engineer. I have now set up a yearly contract with GRT to visit my property. Thank you David”

Google2020-08-02“We first used GRT Heating and Gas Services three years ago to install a new Wiessman Boiler and replace all radiators. All annual boiler services have been carried out by David. We had a new bathroom installed last year (by others) causing the radiators not to reach full heat. David quickly diagnosed the issue after carryout some tests, he modified the heating circuits and now have the existing pump to maintain the boiler/cylinder and by use of a header and additional pump flows round the radiator circuits has been improved such that all our radiators now exceptionally hot throughout the house. David was, as usual, professional, carried out a high standard of install, was polite and tidied up after himself with absolutely no fuss. We have booked David for next year’s boiler service.”

“Having agreed the scope of the job and the price the last step was agreeing on the installation date. David wanted several days, not a problem given it was the summer.
The first thing he did was put down protective sheeting on all the areas he would be using so that there would be no dirt or damage to the house. I haven t seen that from a contractor for ages!
At the end of each day during the job everything was tidied up and tools removed - it s nice to have clean house whilst the work was on-going.
And finally I never had a feeling that the work was being rushed or corners cut. It took more time than I expected but that is down to the attention to detail that David invested in the job. The final result is a good looking installation with nice pipework and electrical wiring.
The boiler is now running but David will be coming back as winter approaches to make sure that it s setup is optimised for the house and energy efficiency. It is nice to see some real after-care.”

“Work was carried out to a very high standard in accordance with specialist requirements which involved changes to central heating and hot water systems including the installation of a new boiler. His attention to detail was demonstrated by the quality of the soldered joints which area result of years of experience.
David was very knowledgeable, friendly, polite and kept his workplace tidy. We were kept fully informed on progress.
The price to carryout the work was as quoted and where additional unforeseen works undertaken, David advised us the likely extra cost before undertaking the agreed work.
We have already booked David to come back to service the central heating and have no reservations in recommending his services.”
